How we selected the ranking
We prioritise the UAE entity and verified gold product, then full cost, AED funding, Arabic service, platform tools and Islamic-account clarity. A cheap headline spread without commission or overnight charges is not a fair comparison.
For gold ownership rather than price speculation, we direct readers to allocated or regulated exchange products with clear custody and redemption documents.
See our broker rating methodology for the wider evidence standard.
UAE regulation and gold products
UAE oversight can fall under the federal CMA, the DFSA in DIFC or the FSRA in ADGM. A licence must match the legal entity and permitted activity on the client agreement; a representative office or group company is not enough.
The regulator verifies the broker's permission, not whether a particular gold CFD represents allocated bullion. Read the product terms for ownership, counterparty, leverage and settlement.
Official registers and standards: UAE licensed companies register, DFSA public register, ADGM public registers, AAOIFI–World Gold Council gold standard.
Other routes worth comparing
These solve different ownership or market-access needs and are not ranked as equivalent to the international CFD platforms.
Allocated bullion. Ask for bar identification, segregated custody, audit and redemption terms. The AAOIFI gold standard is useful when possession matters. AAOIFI–World Gold Council gold standard.
DGCX exchange products. Examine the exchange's gold contracts and use an eligible member; futures contract size, margin and expiry differ from buying bars. DGCX gold futures specifications.
Gold fund units. Read the fund prospectus to understand backing, fees, custody, redemption and whether the product actually holds allocated metal. DFSA public register.
Risk warning
CFDs, forex and futures can cause rapid losses, including from leverage and gaps. This comparison is general information, not personal investment or religious advice. Availability, fees and protections depend on your account entity and current product terms.
